Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone has the same problem as me.

There are two ways of accessing the google assistant in these cars - (1) long press the steering wheel mic button and (2) short push to the right with rotary touchpad wheel.

For some time now the rotary wheel option has stopped working for me. Not sure if the is an Android Auto update issue or a hardware issue with Audi. Has anyone experienced this?

I don't have an iphone so can't confirm if this is a Siri issue as well.

New android auto took out this shortcut, but you can press the button on the right of the wheel that has a symbol that looks like [

If you are running the updated AA, then yes the nudge to the right on the wheel doesn't work. Clicking the right shoulder button once still works, IF your focus is the upper part (i.e. not in the rail section at the bottom)

Blah. I'll have to retrain myself. The nudge to the right was much better than the long press.

Ah well.

I just say "OK Google".

Doesn't work consistently when the radio is on as the mic from the phone can't hear you clearly.
