Hankook S1 evo 2 tires
I managed to get a bolt in my driver side rear tire. Replacing this tire is proving to be difficult.
No no shops in the area have the tire and the dearller is telling me the tire won’t be here until next week Monday.
has anyone replaced a tire yet?

Sounds like you might need to keep a spare Hankook in the garage!

What size? Tirerack has 245/40R18 in stock. It's an Audi OEM tire, but Tirerack says it doesn't fit the S5. Load rating at 93 is too low. Not sure if that's a mistake in their database, but it doesn't look like the S1 evo 2 is the proper tire. What does it say on your tire sidewall exactly?

If the dealer doesn't stock AO/R01/R02 OEM replacement tyres, which they should, then they should at least have some facility with Audi USA to overnight them. Seems poor customer service to subject Amademann to this sort of delay.

None in stock, so they overnighted 2 from Michigan. Depending on the time of arrival, I could have this resolved before the weekend.
I figured I’d order an extra for the garage and plug the punctured tire as a emergency backup.
Add missing bolt caps to the list. The dealer stated they were placed in the trunk. Only caps in the trunk were the caps on the removed bolts from the wheel lock kit.

No, he needs a 255/35R19 96(Y) XL AO. The AO is important in this case.

I don't think AO is that important on the B9 models, reason I stressed it for the Hankook is that AO versions are European production.
Models such as the RS3 with the staggered wheel option can be a real issue, as the Pirelli P Zero R01/R02 versions use a special foam damper to stop harmonic resonance.
