Default Sensor malfunction

Hello,
I’m getting errors “Sensor view limited” for presense and lane change/exit

Only happens if I drive more than 20 minutes above 55 miles/hour. It comes on/off every 5-30 minutes once it starts.
I had rear bumper replaced few months ago.

any ideas?

Long shot but are the involved sensors dirty / covered with road schmutz?

Neither one should be related to the rear sensor. But this is puzzling as it it involve 2 sensor as the first one would be the camera and the second one would be the radar unit. I recently reversed out of an angled parking not realizing that there are steps extending from the curb onto the pavement and I pinching the side of the spoiler hard enough to bent a bracket holding the the radar sensor (thankfully the wrap took most of the scratches with minimal paint damage). I got the pre sense and ACC warning but my lane keeping still works.

I had this about 2 years ago and they said the radar sensor in the rear bumper was lose and needed to be tightened and recalibrated. They said it looked like someone had knocked the bumper in that vicinity.

@Longhorn101 did you have error only at higher speeds and intermittently every few minutes like me?

I had rear bumper replaced few months ago, so that could be it. ACC always works fine, but blind spot stops working when the error comes as per pictures.

Problem is the dealer can’t reproduce the error as it only comes on after driving over 55 miles/h for 20-30 minutes, but once it comes it comes and goes every 5-10 mins.

PS: I ensured sensors are cleaned and not dealer confirmed not damaged

Yes, sounds exactly the same as i experienced. It would take a while of relatively high-speed driving for the exact same errors you have to show up, but it was pretty consistent to show up after it started. Once the dealer did the calibration, never had the error again.

By the way, I just looked up the invoice for that dealer service and it said, "Loose lane assist module in rear bumper affected by outside influence". And the cost was $415 for recalibration, which seems steep but was also 2 years ago. Good luck!

Thank you @Longhorn101 for checking, I was quoted approximately $500 as well
Although my rear bumper was replaced, the sensor/bumper is firm in place.

Service invoice from rear bumper change says “rear calibration done” on service log. I might have to get them to recalibrate I guess.
