Default Slow Clock

The clock in my A5 SB runs ridiculously slow, like almost a minute per week. I inquired during the 10k service and the advisor just said to make sure it's set to update using GPS. As far as I can tell, there's no option for that.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Didn't see anything searching the forum.

Menu>Settings>Left Control Button>MMI settings> Time and Date
Should be options for automatic time, time zone and daylight savings.

I've noticed the same slowness. I will look for that setting tonight.
Would it work if you do not have Audi Care?

Audi Care is irrelevant. If you have the Nav, you should be able to have the time set automatically by GPS, as mentioned by MRA5SB. One nice thing about this is that you never have to update the clock for Summer time / Standard Time.

I do not have the NAV package.

I don't have Nav - the options I see on that screen are in the pic. No Automatic Time setting. I can't believe they used a clock less accurate than a $10 Timex from 1986. Ridiculous.

I've got the same problem. I also lose about 1 min per week, with no way to correct the lag. (No GPS.) That is shockingly inaccurate.

Default OK, I guess Audi is punishing you for not getting GPS

Default It’s your cluster

I had the exact same issues with my ‘18 A5 SB. I have a prem+ with everything but nav/virt ****. When I eventually brought the car in for service, the service rep assumed it’d be a software update. He called me later that day stating it was the instrument cluster and they replaced it under warranty. Sure enough, it’s been dead on ever since.
