Nah, it's on the outside rubber molding at the bottom of the window. It's just that one spot he ran a knife thru it and a piece of it was lifting up. It's very minor I smoothed it out with a nail clipper. You can't even tell unless you look for it.

Had to drop my car off at the same dealer again to get a dent fixed (A dent left by the Xpel film installer but that's another frustrating story I'm currently fighting) and got my car back yesterday. Curious me reviewed the dash cam footage and was I not surprised that the kids driving my car were going over speed bumps at full speed and were leaving my car idled in the parking lot for half an hour. This is why I don't want people to drive my car. I thought I could trust a dealership, but every time I go there they just treat it like a rental. I paid $70K cash for it a month ago so I don't think I'm too OCD about these recent events at the dealership.

The ironic part is when I went to pick up my car the service adviser that pulled up my car told me, "Oh I turned off the engine, didn't want the air blasting and waste fuel." Well, did you know when I wasn't watching, my car was just sitting there idling for half an hour? They put up this facade of good customer service when you pick up your car, but they don't give a damn about it when it's out of sight.

I don't think my next closest dealer is any better. My point is I think they are all like that. Just can't trust people to care about your car as much as you do.

There is a new Audi dealer opening up in Arizona towards the end of the year, Maybe you can try them when they open.

This dealer is so eager to get my feedback for my recent service. They emailed and they just called. I told the guy on the phone I'll complete the email survey instead. Do you think it's ethical to comment on what I saw in the dash cam footage? Such as how the guy was driving over speed bumps without slowing down or how they let my car idle in the parking lot for half an hour? I feel like those aren't my business because I'm literally spying on their workers, but at the same time, it's because of those events that I'm dissatisfied with the recent service. They put on a show when I go pick up the car, but it's what's behind the scene that I really care about. I'm afraid if I comment on the dash cam footage they'll just unplug dash cams from now on in order to prevent stuff like this.

1). It is YOUR Car - you have the cameras in plain sight!

2). The dealership may not know how their lot people treat their customers cars so you could be doing them a favor.

3). You are paying to have your car serviced and you deserve their respect for your property. You Vote With Your Dollars.

Just my opinion.

Having said all that in my last post — you may have to live with any “revenge” factor that your reporting generates.
