Default 2002 Allroad Lemon

I've owned my 2002 AR since June 2002 and have put on 12K miles to date. Since then, I have warped seven sets of rotors under normal driving. AoA says its my driving and not the car. On top of that, I've had a wiring harness problem (10+ days out of service), cracked paint on the rear fog light housing (x2), blown turbo (out of svc 10+ days)...total out of service time 50+ days. When does AoA decide to replace the car. I've been fighting with Stan Ford (Audi Factory rep) for the last 4 months. All I get is jerked around...the dealership is on board to replace the car, but the AoA reps keeps dragging it out. He wasn't me to pay the difference between the 2002 AR and the 2004 4.2 AR at sticker, wants to charge me a usage fee (to drive my own car that I keep making payments on), wants to transfer principle on the 2002 into the new car (initial loans are all interest), re-use the existing car loan 4.9% when the new rates are 1.9% for 60mo, and hasn't given me jack for all of my inconvenience. Is there someone I can contact to move things along?

When a manufacturer buys the car back, it doesn't get labeled a lemon and they can resell and not advise that its a buyback car. Get your lawyer to contact AoA and advise he will bring a lemon law claim. See if the attitude changes.

Default I had a Saab 9-3 lemon a couple of years ago.

In order to get the dealer and Saab of America to comply, I formally filed a lemon law complaint with the state of MD. In Maryland, the law states that if you have a problem 4 times, and its not fixed, your car is a lemon. Most other states have similar laws. Do a search online for your state and 'Lemon Laws', and you should find out where to file. Its a time consuming process, but well worth the effort. FYI though, its unlikely that they will replace your 2.7T with a 4.2 without charging you the difference between the MSRP of what you paid, and what the 4.2 costs now.

Good luck

I haven't been told the price difference between the 2.7 and 4.2. The AoA rep would like me to pay the sticker difference...yeah right. I understand it will be around 5-6K.
