2004 C5 Suspension fill error
Have converted an 04 allroad back to air suspension. Old controller was removed and connector was hacked so had to splice a used one from an '03 in. All connections verified. Only difference is the 03 had a gray brown wire in location 13 which is not present on the 04 connector. The wiring diagram does not show any connection to it at 17g/12 so I assume it is not an issue. Trying to fill the system via VAGCOM and getting Group 26, 27, 28 not available errors. I am using the 08367 login. Controller, pump and pump relay were all functional in the 03. All relevant fuses are good. Any suggestions?

Found the issue. Could see the relay on in VCDS but the pump was not. There was corrosion on the positive connector to the pump. Spliced a cable from another one, reinstalled and system came to life. Could not fill from VCDS but it's a win anyway.

I have the same issue after pulling the unit, rebuilding, and putting in a "new solenoid."
Pump runs GREAT (and quiet), but it's not filling and VCDS shows PUMP RELAY ON, but PUMP OFF.
Any suggestions?

Now sure about the OP, but I am. It's up on jackstands, suspension in jack mode. Used basic commands to groups 26/28/30 to charge each (front/rear/reservoir).
I thought maybe the pump wasn't making any pressure even though it's freshly rebuilt, so I disconnected the air line from the pump that feeds into the valve block. TH compressor is blowing air, but I've got no idea how much PSI.
I went back and tested to see if air was flowing thru the valve block and out the reservoir port. It is.
Next to do is to disconnect all the output air lines, then connect ONLY the one I want to test - to make sure it's the only on that's getting air.
The other thing I noticed: When the car was on the ground and I turned off jack mode, the pressure in the reservoir goes up to 1.30 while the compressor is on, then goes back to zero within a couple second f the compressor shutting off.
