Default Shut down everything but VAG...no screen savers, nothing on the desktop, esp photos,

nothing running in the background...no antivirus or Itunes or anything open or running...and if it's an older laptop you're farkeled because I think this program needs a fair amount of both RAM and processing speed...others may chime in her but that's a good first step...put it back to original and start over if it will run.

Default Sorry it is an IT technical term, meaning "not working, not available, not functioning as designed,

not operating correctly, not BEING operated correctly, or just plain NOT"....I try not to use technical jargon too much around "others"

Default Agree. Vag-Com becomes a memory and processor hog when running the suspension module.

Girlroad, you in the IT industry? If so, that makes two of us with ar's.

Default Yes...

30 years....10 in the trenches (consulting, management and such) and almost 20 in academia teaching programming and systems analysis mostly...I think there are as many tech-geeks on here as almost any other profession...that and we would be computer savy (I love that word enough to look for help here

Good stuff. It is evident that there are a number of geeks on this board. Where did you teach? or perhaps you still are teaching. I've thought about that route one day but still in the consulting world as of now. 2nd child on the way so we'll see if things change soon in that regard.

You might find this entertaining. Not sure why he is doing this but interesting to read... certainly a 'cool' factor to it.
