Another opinion requested - AWB vs. Dealership extended warranty
I know that this issue has literally been "beaten to death", but would really like some opinions.
I have a loaded 2001 Tip with about 29K on it with the warranty to expire on December 31st.
1 - Joby at AWB has quoted $1,800 for a 4 year 100K miles - the 4 years starts from the time of purchase - exclusionary top plan
2 - Dealership has now quoted $2,551 for a 7 year 100K miles - this, of course, means 3 years from the end of the original warranty - platinum
AWB has a lower price and longer term, but is it worth a $750 premium and one year shorter to get the extended warranty through the dealership?
Thanks

I actually just got the one through the dealership, sal
I looked carefully at the AWB one and it had some language that I didn't really like concerning turbos and the suspension. If I remeber right it said that the suspension is covered for normal wear and tear but that it considered the suspension airbags to be just like shocks and struts and would not be covered. I also remember something about turbos but I can't remember off the top of my head. Something in there, though, made me leary so I went with the Platinum coverage from Audi. And you're getting off cheap for $2551 from the dealership.

Been very busy, too. Not much mileage as office is close to house.
I see have seen quite a few allroads inside the Loop lately. It seems like they have really caught on....now that they are apparently being discontinued. I really do like my allroad and intend to keep it for quite awhile. I have not really seen anything else that I want. It would be nice to have another "get together".
