ive thought about doing a reverse 402 for extra ride height in winter but never went forward with it. i think Papertoast is thinking about doing it, as well as running large offroad tires.

Yeah I was thinking exactly the same thing have a set of Porsche cayenne wheels in the garage that I got cheap, just need some hub adapters next. But do you know how high can you take it? Level 4 STD is around 8" iirc . Which I heard was comparable to an BMW x5?

just remember you can tear the airspring on bumps by maxing out the length ie 390.

dont know how high it will let you. i think the "normal" 402 maxes out after about 30mm, so maybe it would be the same in reverse? but as paulroad said it could be risky for the airsprings. also you will be messing with the driving dynamics by raising the center of gravity(ie easier to roll the car).
stock level 4 had ground clearance comparable to the land rover discovery. not sure how that compares to the x5, but the LR Disco is better car to compare to due to its reputation offroad. either way, yes, it has a fair bit of ground clearance on level 4.

phil, you should check out the yokohama geolander at-s. looks like a pretty gnarly tire and it is available in 225/60R17
