Any legal eagles around here?

I wouldn't recommend submitting your jockeys to the judge - despite moto's good definition ;-)
If you don't know what a brief is or how to write it, you need an attorney to do it for you. The brief is a memo to the judge explaining your side of the case. It needs to be supported by cites to prior similar cases that are on point. It also needs to follow the format required by the court's rules of procedure.
An attorney would be your best bet here, I don't recommend trying this one on your own.

appealing a ticket....
the city of walnut creek claims I turned right without fully stopping (on a red). The officer admited in court to losing eye sight of me around the corner. He told the judge, according to the ticket, that my car was grey and that it was a 2000. Neither of which are true. Car is silver and is an 03.
either way, the judge is a total hard *** found me guilty and I appealed it. Thus I need to submit a brief, otherwise the appeal gets dropped.
