AR does not "start"

AR does not "start"
Hi ! again allroaders,
Yesterday my wife got stock with the ar. The engine stops while going down a city street (not to far from home) and never start again. I was at home so i reached up to her. Starter is working well, engine is turning, according to her there was no sign of chech engine light (on). She only noticed the battery icone in the dash came in "bleu". I had the car towed (CAA-AAA) to my mechanic's garage last night. He scanned it this morning and found no bad code except a exhaust type of code which according to him should not be linked to my problem. By the way there is enough gas in the tank........!!! Every electric gismos are working on the car......While writing i just tough that it could be the fuel pump. Could the pump "burned" out without giving a "check engine" sign ? What are your toughts ???

I'm pretty sure that it is the fuel pump or, if you're lucky, the fuel pump relay. When my fuel pump went out it was a couple of blocks from my house with the same symptoms as you. No CEL, would not start, etc.
