Audio / Bose? problem
I encountered a troubling problem over the past week. My audio system wouldn't respond to any of the controls (either on the steering wheel or dash) with the exception of the volume and tuning *****. Couldn't change from FM to AM/CD/CDC etc; presets didn't work,... Problem went away in a couple minutes. Yesterday while driving along listening to the Masters on an AM station, the unit suddenly switched to FM preset 1 and wouldn't respond to any buttons.
Any ideas??

A6 4.2, hasn't happened on the allroad yet. I asked for a new radio and got it after I told the
service manager that the radio gremlins had struck.
Check the archives in the A6 forum, and tell the dealer it's been an ongoing complaint and problem.
They sould order a new stereo if they don't have one in stock!
