Boost Problem - need help
The allroad is stage 1 APR chipped and has been for over a year.
Accelerating out of a toolbooth it was like someone took the boost off (or made it stock again)
The car hits max 8psi boost and usually is at about 4-5psi when accelerating. (I have a boost gauge)
So far we have checked the following:
1) Vaccuum Test
- Positive on Air intake (no leak)
- Negative on Canisters that connect to Secondary Air Pump (holds pressure)
2) Changed N112
3) Changed N75
4) Changed Diverter Valves (710N)
The car does not throw any errors other than Negative Charge Pressure (No MIL)
I think the following still need to be checked
A) N249
It says 27-30 ohms - we checked it and its at 26.5 Ohms - is that OK or not?
B) IC leak
Have not checked this although in some way it should have shown up when we did the pressure test
C) Turbo Valve (mechanical) stuck open or closed - if I remember the N75 valve connects to a mechnanical device that controls the opening and closing of the turbo valve on the exhaust side of the turbo. If ONE of these is closed - perhaps this is the problem???
D) Bad Turbo
When I accelerate I hear a turbo spool up - i dont know if its one or two, and there is no smoke or drilling screeching sound. I would hazard a guess that the turbos are working - although I cant speak to whether the exhaust side valve is open.
ANY SUGGESTIONS OR HELP ARE WELCOME - Im running out of things to change
