Default C5 Allroad packages

Anyone here remembers or know whats included in the C5 Allroad packages.

I have a 2002 Allroad Tiptronic and a 2003 6-Speed. The 2002 seems to have everything (double spoke rims, backup sensor, 4 heated seats, heated steering, heated windshield washer nozzle, xenon headlights, 2 front seat memory, and Audi telematics (On Star))

The reason I am asking is because my 2003 heated steering never work from i got the car and I am not sure if it should or not. It has single spoke wheels, 4 heated seats, heated windshield washer nozzle, backup sensor, xenon headlights, 2 front seat memory, rear side window curtains.

So far they pretty much have similar features with the exception of the telematics and double spokes rims on the 2002. (Not sure but the double spokes rims look more expensive)

My question is, with those features on the 2003, should heated steering included or its just not working. What package include heated steering?

Found this link here

According to the link, there is no heated steering option for 03. Why are they going backwards? It is nice to have on a cold morning.

They went backwards because the allroad was quickly approaching $60k with every option available at the time. I've had heated seats and steering wheels in a jaguar I once owned, but it was a $70k luxury car. The allroad, would seem the ideal place for such features (considering most allroads are located in cold, snowy climates) though the allroad is also a utility vehicle too (utility generally equals less luxury; except for range rover of course, but their nearly $90k). another possibility is people not ordering that particular option or didn't care for it, or Audi decided to simple delete it. Could be tons of reasons for it.

That said, I bet the A8 still has them.

Heating steering wheel option was only in 2001 and part of 2002 (but maybe only 2001 actually) and latter years don't have it. I love mine.

Mine is an 02 and has the heated steering wheel and it's great. It actually surprised me the first time I used the heated seats and noticed the steering wheel was getting warm.

I think I priced what my allroad would have sold for back in 2002 and I think it came to around $50k. Mine doesn't have Nav, split wheels, or the on board computer thing.

In 2001 and 2002 the heated steering wheel came as a package with the multifunction steering wheel (buttons), xenon headlights, and rear parktronic sensors. Sadly, it's the only package mine is missing.

It was eliminated from the 2.7T models because Audi was planning on releasing the 4.2 and they wanted to separate the two tiers more. It's the same reason the wood shift **** disappeared from 2.7's only to show up later on 4.2's again.

Default Retrofitting?

How hard do you guys think it would be to retrofit a heated wheel? I think that would be awesome for cold days!
