Default CheckEngine light / 6 speed

Well, finally got that dreaded check engine light yesterday when driving on the Palisades Parkway in NY. Couple of things happened: once that day my key fob would not close the car. I had to use the key (afterward it was fine). I have another intermittent problem. If I put the car in 2nd gear and bring it to say 4000-4500 rpm or more, then remove my foot from the gas pedal and then depress the clutch, the engine revs up for a second, then down..... Was ok this morning when I took the car, but still has the check light....Have an appointment with the dealer tomorrow.

Nothing there is relevant to the light. Post back what you find.
