Climate control question
Is there any way to "slave" the passenger side temp control to the driver's side? It is nice having the option of different temps out of each side, but 90+% of the time, I am the only one in the car. It is not a huge deal, but is a distraction to have to change both whenever I want a different temp. I am guessing someone knows a secret code.
BTW, do the rear vents blow air from the driver's side or the passenger side? Want to know which to turn up or down to help out rear passengers, mostly my 5 year old.

iirc there is a way to slave them but you have to do it each time the car is started.
I belive there is something in the owners manual. Not sure about the rear vents though.

No known way to slave them but for those that are unaware you can store different AC settings in
each individual remote including the individual vent buttons as well as recirc, AUTO recirc, econ mode, auto mode, etc. This is not documented in the manual but it does work as least with the "newer" series remotes. My dealer upgraded (replaced) my 03 remotes.
This may be no help for you but useful for 2 diff drivers so they do not have to dial in their prefered settings at startup. Individual seat and mirror settings are stored as well.
The lowest of the 3 vent selection buttons directs the MAX amount of mixed L/R air to the rear vents. When in AUTO mode you might get 20-50% to the rear at best.
