Current Tire Recommendations
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has a current favorite (non-snow) tire recommendation for the AR?
I need a tire that is good for both on and off road driving, is excellent against hydroplaning, and is capable of carrying five people and gear.
I'm unsure if a typical 95/97 load-rated tire is enough or if I need to go up to a 101 in the 225/55R17 size?
My main concern with off-road driving isn't grip, but rock resistance and tire life from driving (carefully and slowly) on an unmaintained forestry road. If there's no real difference in rock resistance, etc. between tires, then I would prefer to go with a performance tire.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

I ran these on mine.

They were a decent price, great in the rain and snow, good grip on the dry pavement, quiet, and long wearing. Not sure what kind of rocks you're dealing with, but mine held up to multiple dump runs. My dump is littered with screws, glass, sharp metal, etc.
