Default What are the effects of a bad sensor?

Curious, only because my 03/03 manufactured 6spd does some weird suspension changes at the stoplight occassionaly.

I thought if I chose the "2" setting, it would only adjust if I were to go at very high speeds (down to "1" and back to "2"). Today, on a short cross-town drive to lunch (all under 45MPH)...I stopped at a redlight and viola! the front end raises all by itself (no indication via the lights) - but I can certainly FEEL and SEE it lifting. Odd.

Default That happens a lot...

I can only assume that it is adjusting to compensate for air that was released from the front springs while driving - due to lift.

Just a guess - but it's not uncommon.

Default Hey, Where's the love?

How about a little empathy here? We've all had our fair share of **** gone wrong with this car. I'm in the midst of a pronounced pull to the right which is a bit aggravating so I FEEL YOUR PAIN, MAN!
If you want an opinion you could at least buy an g-d AR already!!!! (If you haven't noticed this is the AR forum...)

I'd assume this is a common problem, seeing as the sensor is on backorder.

Default Re: BAD RIDE LEVEL SENSOR ?

Recently, I am having an intertesting problem too @33,000 miles (2001 AR). Often in the parked position my front end is in a crouched position i.e., appears to be gone lower than #1. After starting the car the level light blinks and adjusts to #1 and stays there (doesn't go to 2). I was telling my wife that because my AR is parked next to her Porsche in the garage it is trying to be a sports car now!! Let 's find out what the service has to say.
