Just a thought........
Some folk have posted here about wierd things happening with their car's electronics from time to time.
In my day job, I drive an obscure oriental SUV, that has quite ropey electronics.
Generally when the battery is new, there isn't any problem, but once the battery starts to age, the problems start coming back, bigtime.
It appears that when cranking the engine at startup, particularly a stone cold engine, the voltage drop messes up the electronics on board, for this particular vehicle.
Like I said, just a thought,
maybe some allroads are voltage sensitive?
