Need geek info!!!
O.K. Dahlback, and K&N have helped me beat my neighbors SS silverado.....Just one more to go, my friends stock 2000 M5. Do any of you know the formula for figuring vehicle weigh/b.h.p/w.h.p/to 0-60, or so times?? Also, why not a M5 Avant awd 6 spd???, or better yet a U.S rs6 Avant 6er..

Sure I could help level the playing field.
something like this attached to the back of the M5 might give you an edge:

I googled "automotive calculators". The truth is out there.

an example:
Engine horsepower required to reach MPH in quarter mile (HPq):
HPq = (0.00426 x MPH) x (0.00426 x MPH) x (0.00426 x MPH) x WEIGHT
Note: understates HP required at speeds exceeding 100 MPH.
Note: assumes engine HP must be 2 x the HP required at drive wheels.
Example: What engine HP is required to achieve 110 MPH in a 3200 pound vehicle in 1/4 mile?
HPq = (0.00426 x 110) x (0.00426 x 110) x (0.00426 x 110) x 3200 = 329 engine HP
