I bought some new Hoen xenonmatch plus bulbs that are closer to matching the color of the low beams. I got the back covers off the headlight assembly but couldn't figure out how to remove the bulb itself after I disconnected the wire. I expected a bayonet quarter turn to remove but that didn't seem to do it. I tried pulling straight out but didn't want to yank and break things. Some type of latch or spring I don't see?

I checked the manual and it says to see the dealer to change a headlight bulb. Seems odd to change a light bulb requires a dealer visit.

Look at bulb you got to replace, should be able to figure out how to remove from it.

I've got xenons but I am replacing high beams. I'll try again and twist harder on the bulb. Thanks.

Maybe check with your local Hooters restaurant in January or February.

I only know for sure with xenons since that's what I have, high beam bulb is twist out in that case.
