Default New allroad problem

New to the forum here and I just wanted to relay a story and see if anyone had similar problems. I just picked up a new 2002 allroad with 9 miles on it. It is a 6-speed manual. After 3 days of driving I noticed a smell of burning oil after stopping the car. The suspension system was also not working. I took the car back to my dealer and I had a loose oil feed to one of my turbos (the oil smell), and the suspension pump was inoperable. All was replaced for me and the car has been running well since. Needless to say, though, it has made me nervous about the car (my first Audi). Has anyone had similar problems? I am trying to convince myself that these are one-off problems that won't be repeated, but...

I'm 4000 miles in with no problems, knock on wood. Don't think many experienced similar problems.

Default Re: New allroad problem - none here (knock-on-wood)

Sounds like a one-off problem(s).
Wife has 02 allroad - 1000 miles, no problems.
I have 02 A6 4.2 - just shy of 1000 miles, no problems.
Good luck...

Default knocking on all the wood inside myself...

I will work under the assumption that these problems will not occur again. Part of what steered me to the allroad was the unbelievably positive reviews I read from people on sites like this. As I have learned, "stuff (insert expletive) happens." So I'll hold out for the best. I do LOVE the car, though. Just can't wait to get it all broken in so I can actually check out the engine and car in all of their glory. It is so hard to drive in a restrained manner so early on...
