I am another happy new allroad owner. I always dug them when I had my A4, and they finally got to my pricepoint. The car is a 2002 2.7t tiptronic with 36,000 miles (still under warranty). I had a little buyers remorse thinking about what can go wrong with the twin turbos and air suspension -- but driving it makes me feel instantly better -- looking forward to some snow on Mt Hood this year. The only problem I have noticed is some oil-like fluid on the driveway coming from the tranny I think (further back than the engine compartment) -- anyone have that? This is my first automatic, which kind of sucks, but is nice in traffic.

Any suggestions for immediate maintenance or upgrades? I installed a GT28 turbo kit, etc. on my A4 and started having all kinds of reliability problems, so I don't plan to go crazy with mods on this one (famous last words....) Anyway, stoked to be part of the AR forum now.

My other question is more website related -- how do you get a photo to post with your signature? I haven't done much web posting and can't figure it out, except that cut and paste is clearly not working. thanks............

Default welcome and have fun...

In addition to the factory warranty, ist is a CPO or extended? Regardless, your next majopr service (paid by AoA) is 40K miles, Oil, (bring your own 0w-40 synthetic)filter, plugs, brakes, etc. It in your maint. book in the dash.

Watch the leak, you could wait the 4000 miles, or bring it to the dealer now for a full exam and warranty repair. If you did not buy it at an Audi dealer, ask the service manager for a look at the cars repair/service history.

Have fun! and enjoy the mods to come.

yeah - I'm in Portland. Bought my last Audi from Zak's on 82nd, but he couldn't match the deal I got on this one at Freeman Motors. Let me know how that purchase works out for you. Ever go out to PIR? -- I live close to the track in N Portland. cheers -- max
