No heat - air in system?
Since engine in/out, I have not much heat.
I assume air entrapped.
What is best way to 'burb' the Allroad?
If not air (can't say that I hear a the usual (on other cars) 'bubbling'), what else could cause 'not very hot' heat from vents?

Could also be a clogged heater core. If you bled the system, i would try a heater core flush.

My DIY flush is bascially:
- drain
- fill with water
- warm up
- drain
- fill with coolant
- start engine with coolant cap off, top off
- when warm, cap on. run a bit longer.
- shut off. cool down. fill up.
Best way to do it?

If the water temp is running normal I would say there is a clog in the heater core. It's not very hard to do either.
Here's my DIY thread on flushing it out:
