Default Opions on EBC yellow stuff for street/daily driving? Hawk HP+ are...

just too squeky and dusty.. Loved the EBC red stuff but wondering if anyone has any experience with yellow stuff.. they claim they "bite" cold with no warm up required.. any comments?

Default pops has them on his caymen, he says they are a bit dustier than

the reds and greens and seem to work pretty well. They seem to be more of a track pad. I am putting reds on my wifes volvo XC as they seem to be recommended for heavier vehicles.

Default I had great luck with the EBC Green in my old single piston calipers

Nice cold bite, little dust, only an occasional squeak on really hot days in commuting traffic. At the time when I converted to HP2 calipers, there was no application for the Green.

Default I use the EBC yellowstuff in my Boxster calipers at the track only.

I feel they're more effective when warm.

Default Yellow is completely useless when cold.

Like wet rotors in the dry... no initial bite when cold, not really safe for use on public roads.

Default I have the EBC greens with Ate rotors all around

They are great, excellent bite and feel IMO,kind price also. I run the greens on my MB 500E too (which I HPDE)....funny but the MB doesn't dust as much even on track as the 2001 ar does on street but maybe its b/c the ars are brand new (?)(<1000 miles on them)

I like to try to wash the ar anyway every week so no big deal on the extra dust.
