Give it a little while longer to break in.

16 mpg, more or less, in suburban driving. Low 20's, highway.

Default you're in the ballpark-I got 14.5@30mph average for first few thousand miles...

have over 5K now and just got 18.5-19 on a recent trip using regular gas (as a test). Now getting in the 16s running around. Give it some time and take it easy on the throttle! Also make sure tires are inflated to specs- at 5K service the dealer put 34 all around while I now run 39F/42R.

i am getting average 14.5 for mixed city and highway. have been quite nice on the throttle and haven't even used the sport mode much. called the dealer and they said, mmmmmmmmmmmm let me get back to you. think they would know about something like this.

My 4.2 has about 6000 miles. The mpg is only 15.8 with 28 mph, mostly city and local driving. According the manual page 310, you can use the regular. And that is the way for me. I tried and tried both 87 and 93 octane seperately, I don't see the difference.
