I'm in Seattle, but can travel to Oregon or eastern Washington to pick up or do the labor.

Let me know....

Default Why don't you want a new stock Audi EU Hitch?

I have had them both and the EU one is way nicer.

Default $$$$$$$$$ and no safety chains. But certianly tempting.

I bought an EU hitch for my 540i, but it got lost in the mail, unfortunately.

Wouldn't it be easy to add safety chain loops to the euro hitch?

Default I will admit I did not install it myself. Rich at eurohitch.es

installed it for me.

Advice? Make sure you order the 11 pin to 4 pin adapter from Genuine Audi so your trailers will be plug-and-play (especially at UHaul). Speaking of, if they look skeptical when you show up, remind them that you have a Class 3 hitch (then watch their faces as you pull away with a full load). If you have Parktronic, you'll be delighted to know it disables itself when it senses tow wiring. Other than that, have fun!
