Default Really Poor Gas Mileage

Ok, I know an allroad is not supposed to get killer gas mileage but I was under the impression that I should (at least) get around 20MPG. I am getting around 15-16 driving 95% highway around 70-75 on cruise.

2.7 tip with 67K. I get around 275 miles per tank.

I only run super, plugs looked a little worn but no build up, air intake is fine.

Any ideas? Dealer said that is normal gas mileage...

Default from what I know poor mileage can be caused by the following(but not only)

improper tire inflation, clogged air filter, bad sparks(coils), old engine oil/filter.
also a cargo box on top of car would provide wind resistance...

Well the original highway MPG is 22,. Still you might wanna check how well both turbochargers work,. Plus the wear off of materials (not spoilage)can be an issue too.

try cruise control, it should provide best mileage at a constant 70 Mph.

If not just plug it into a service center computer to see.

You should also take into consideration that climate control decreases the mileage.

The usual strategy would be to change oil plus oil/fuel/air filter,. and take it to the service center. (cauise thats what the center will advise)

Could also be restricted Cats, or bad 02 sensors.

Default 15-16 is not really poor. Some get more, but that's what I get since new

If I baby it, and use cruise, I might get to 20.

If the turbos kick in, if I blast to 90 once or twice, or go up a hill, I've seen my mileage drop from 22 on the display to 16 quickly.

A steady 70 with cruise should get you 19~ish. Hammer the hell out of it, and you get 15. I have fun on the highway, so I don't mind the cost. Next time, I'll get a diesel.
