While the allroad is still in pieces, I'd like to install the quicker ratio RS6 steering rack, but I have no idea if it will bolt up.

Has anyone looked into this?

I'm not sure, but I'm afaid the firewall and subsequent mounting points may differ. But if there's any way to get better gearing, I'd be interested in knowing what steps to take.

Anyone?

I don't expect it would look like much all bolted back together though.

Did you go with the black or silver FMIC?

I've decided to go with black all the way around - FMIC, 6 pot Stoptechs, black roof rails, RS6 exhaust tips, window surrounds, tailgate trim, MTM bi-motos with the 'titan' (dark grey) paint, polished face (as pictured below).

sort of an "RS allroad plus", I guess.

I'm hoping it will be done in just a couple weeks at this point...

Basically, it will look like this: (no bulll bar on the front, but it will have the MTM flares and wheels w/285/35/19 PS2's)
