Default SF (Royal a$$es) Audi.... NEVER go!!!

Hey all,

Just a quick note about San Francisco Audi service dept. They are royal alright... a royal pain in the ***! What a bunch of rude ****ing idiots! I have never been treated with such disrespect and condescending attitude at a dealer. They were just all-around rude and I wouldn't recommend going there even to get tires inflated. I'll get off my soap box now and drive to Burlingame!

Default I've had exactly the opposite experience with Royal.

You need to talk to audi service mgrs, Johnny or Gary.

Default I agree. I went there 3 times for service. They damaged the car each time...

Dings, scratches, etc., and them told me that they were there before the service. (Whe I specifically did a walk-araound inspection of the car with them each time before dropping it off.)

After much discussion with the manager, they fixed it each time, but 3 times in a row?!?

Honestly, nothing major. I just got a lot of attitude from 2 people there. I had a piece of trim come apart on the back door(from previous work from Audi of Livermore) and asked them to replace it under warrantee. This is something that Livermore would have done with no problem. The guy told me it wasn't covered. I told him that other dealers feel different about their customer service. Livermore also told me to have the shocks that hold the rear door open replaced as they are leaking something. They didn't do it because I told them I was moving to the city. SF guy said no way they would replace them. I guess I'm going to drive out to Livermore...

I remember Royal had a manager change a couple of years ago. The old guy was super-nice (can't remember his name), the new guy was awful; rude as you commented. To contrast, I just had service done at Sonnen in San Rafel, and they couldn't be nicer. (Ask for Gene.) They did a better job washing my car also. Go up to marin rather than all the way out to Livermore.

..and when AudiUSA calls you for followup, be sure to give them all 1's
