Suspension issues
Dealer diagonised the suspension issue as a bad compressor and is fixing it this week. (under warranty) I have a A4 2.0TQ loaner with sport wheels, I like it. On the sticker it says "dealer discount" of $6,000.00 - I think this is part of the new loaner program. I like it except for the standard lights (non xenon), it reminds me of my old A4. But it is hard getting used to the automatic.

Try Sport mode....
I've been getting an A4 Avant 2.0 Tip as my loaner recently.. The engine is plenty strong, and in SPort Mode.. holding the gears longer... it can keep up with the stock 2.7 allroad.
I was very impressed. My dealer orders them with the full assortmant of Packages: Premium, Cold Weather, sunroof, etc. I like the "bi level" xenon light.. White lows and white highs... The Rental Discount of 6000.00 is great..especially for the guy who will buy this one used.. or the dealer if they don't disclose its loaner car nature.

Re: what were your compressor issues/symptoms?
The issues are getting stuck on a level, noisey compressor - running a lot. I do not have a leak in an airbag, but the compressor is not holding the pressure. It takes a long time to change from one level to the next as well.
