Thinking about installing my 01 wiper arms tomorrow but...
Looking at the new arms there are no splines just a conical fitting. Is this just a case of pushing the new ones on and the drive side splines will cut the arm side?

I had an 03 and put the 01 retrofit on. Worked fine and I remember some pressure was required for the arms to push in.
I was worried about them coming off (one year later still on) but just make sure they are well fastened.

Hmm, I backdated mine from '02 to '01
And I'm pretty sure they had splines.
The icing problems were solved. I've since bought some michelin replacement blades at costco that act much like the stock blades. I'll have to see how they do in nasty weather.
