Default Those with a Tanoga SS

after you put in the spacers and tightened the rail screws, and then tightend the mount screws did your rail screws put dents in the sheet metal around the shifter? Any problems with the lower portion of the SS hitting anything? Vibration? Noises?

Default Update

I cured the interference with the shifter and the tunnel. Adjusted the SS to the Specs in the Audi manual. Both of my rear screws dented the sheetmetal and seemed to caused a vibration and popping noise. However after putting the silencer and foam back in all is quiet. Now if I can stop trying to ram the shifter through the radio everything will be fine. As a side note I did all this to put the Wood **** on. It matches the interior trim perfectly! Only took an hour all together, but thosse screws and spacers are a Trial of Job. After I do the toy guy mod to the stock stick any body want it?

Default i'd take it but i don't think it would fit my allroad 01/01 build date

look how the air-conditioner stuff blocks air flow thru the intercooler : )

Default Re: Update

Are you going to sell the Tanoga, or the Toy-Guy modded stock shifter? Please keep in the loop... as I'm looking to buy something.
