I just dropped my '02 off @ Rector to have an elective oil change done and to look into the following other issues:

Creaking drivers seat...
Squealing brakes...
Shuddering left headlight...
"Siren" sound from my passenger turbo...

Sounds familiar? I'm pretty certain that it's going to be a failure at some point...So We will see what Rector has to say. They seem very competant.

A "siren sound" is not reassuring... seems the turbo lady may have found you...

Turned out some road debris had kicked up into the a/c fan and shorted out the unit. It sounded turbo related at first, but when I turned off the climate control the sound disappeared, so I then figured it had to be related to the fan. I hope that is your problem also since it was a pretty easy fix at the dealer.

And this noise happens all the time... for about the last 3500 miles. I hoped if I ignored it it would just go away.

I'll find out today...

I had a similar problem and they found debris caught up in the fan. It was not a problem with the turbo.

Did you leave the car with Hector at Rector? =)

They are checking into my K&N filter to see if the noise is attributed to it...

They won't the noise has been there 3500 miles and the k&N 6000.
