Default Very confused

Picked up the car from my Indy a few days ago, falken tire installation, brake fluid replacment ATE blue and a few minor things. It seems now I have a brake pulse under high speed braking 70 mph and over, but nothing at easy low speed braking. Have Zimmerman cross drilled rotors with 4k on them. Rear rotors look like they need to be cut or replaced fronts look clean. Indy said I need to replace one CV joint set up app for next week. Very confused.

Default 4Rings I feel your pain...every time lately that my wheels have been off the end

result was worse than when I went in...I am still in the process of sorting it all out and will have mine in for three days next week to give them "time" to get it right. I think it was Ex-Pz.. who suggested the ABS or trac control may be off due to a problem with the wheel speed sensors and I'm going to check that out on top of making sure the brakes are right and not squealing like a bus or shuddering or not stopping. I will let you know what I find out in case you haven't resolved it by then, but what Paul says is good to start as one time when mine were off by the time I got home, about 40 miles one of the wheels was very loose. Good luck.

Did exactly as PR recomended. Re Torque to 90 to no avail. What has me going nuts is it only happens severly above 70 all the way to 120, lower speed 50-60 smoothh and again the tires (Falken) are the bomb..........

Default Re: check the lugs for proper torque? Did it

Re did the fronts to 90, will try the rears today someone made it easy and stole my wheel cap on my twin spokes. So weird that it's at high speed and just after the brake fluid flush, put in blue dot 5, hear a little brake noise but that may be due to the quietness of the Falkens as opposed to the P6'S.

Any chance the lugs were over-torqued and threw the rotors off?

Default Have similar issue...

And having to deal with the dumbest Audi dealers on the planet does not help. Have to wait a while until I can take it out of town to another dealer to work on. I get the pulse at higher speeds but nothing at low.

What is confusing is I have what sounds like a busted belt in my passenger side tire, the dealr moved the tire to the rear and the thumping went away however I gained a strong harmonic vibration at 50 to 65 MPH. I had them move the tire back and balance all the tires and check air pressure. After that the issue got worse. Back to the thumping (and they told me my tires DO NOT have a busted belt), I now have the strong vibration at 15-20mph, 38-42mph and again at 70-80mph. Have no idea what to do. Was thinking about dropping the money for 4 new tires and wheels and see if that takes care of it. Also thought it might be the CV's. Any direction on this would help a ton.

Once I get some more info on my issue I will get back with you. I have new Zimmerman drilled rotors that worked great until I had a brake flush done only 4k miles on the rotors, Like Paulroad suggested maybe to much torqe on the rims from the indy. Going in next week.
