I think I have found and fixed all my water leaks, after real work and expense. The front leak turned out to be a crack in the bottom of the cabin filter box, and I also replaced the trim along the bottom of the windshield, there is a foam rubber strip along the bottom of this piece that was damaged too.

In the rear I had a damaged and stained headliner, so we pulled the entire headliner out. Once we got the headliner out we found there are two white boxes attached to the rear of the sunroof cassette, both were broken and that's where the leak was coming from. Water had run down the headliner, and run down over the radio amp in the right rear of the trunk and killed it, and had also soaked the spare tire cover. Repairing both those boxes seems to have fixed it as we've had plenty of rain lately and found no water in the car. The bride is happy again!

Great to hear after 2 years you still have the Allroad, found the problem, and made the bride happy!
I was seriously looking at a 2010 allroad this week, and the wife told me to keep the old one, something about having replaced almost everything on it she couldn't stand starting again.

I live in Sydney, it just doesn't rain here anymore. We have just started water restrictions and they have fired up the desalination plant so drains in the roof are no longer a concern.

Well done for persisting!
