Default HA! I think I see Der Beast in the background! :-) I'm going to try to get out there to get it Sat..

Unfortunately the projected completion date dragged on so long, by the time it was ready, my schedule precluded making the cross country trip to pick it up. Hopefully I'll be able to get out there this weekend to finally pick it up...

I will certainly post my impressions then!!! MUAHAHAHAH!! :-)

Default Wow, that's a mod list! looking forward to your report.

What's the advantage of the RS6 steering rack? Are you sticking w/ the air suspension? I bet the MTM flares (w/ wheels to fit) are gonna look sweeet.

Yours in envy-

RS6 rack is quicker ratio = more responsive steering, and no servo boost.

Default No - just H-sports. I want to retain the adjustable suspension. I may continue

I may continue my quest for upgraded shocks, but we shelved that plan for now. It seems to be quite the engineering challenge, and given as it was going to take even longer and more $$$ to solve it, I bagged that effort.

I'll see how it does with the H-sports and go from there. It's going to look silly 'launching' and stopping, but it seems there's little I can do.

At some point I may get around to buying a used front and rear shock and seeing if I can get someone to do a teardown analysis, with some hope of rebuilding them with at a higher pressure.

So far, everyone's attempts in this direction have failed. But I'm not completely convinced...

Default I have 1 front and 2 rear airsprings with shocks - these are RMcQ's used ones up for 'analysis' ...

I have had them a while. Now, ready to ship to next allroad scientist. Let me know if you want them.
