Default Well, the S6 on the local lot is already $80K...what's a new M5 going for? They'd better close the

HP gap before they try to close the price gap.

Default .....I may end up buying a BMW or Mercedes.....

I think this is a risky approach.... Remember your customer base Mr de Nysschen! This is probably why they want to do a gradual price increase, not to scare their customer base. Also, the competition reading that may want to be a little more attractive to Audi buyers, to have them switch over.... So this is a risky business. Remember who buys Audis!!!!!!

Default My 97 MB E320 brought 50% @ 7 years 77K miles; my 03 ar might bring 50% @ 3 yrs 38K miles

So much for Audi depreciation ....

Both were $50-51K sticker new.

In my experience, Benz has a much lower total cost of ownership.

Default I had thought that historically too, but at least in my area late model '01 or better

of all German cars are taking about the same hit and all of them seem to be in the shop about as much too...not sure, other than complexity of systems what that is all about as they used to hold their value better and be at least as reliable or more so than most American marques.

Little known fact: Manufacturer sets prices of used cars. Market can adjust up/down slightly.
