frustrated with myAudi Connect
I have not been able to log in from the vehicle since I bought it, and the dealer keeps telling me about all these cool features... but to use them I need to be registered as the key user with the vehicle. Even though the login through the app works fine, and it's connected to my vehicle (charging and battery status sync), I still can't complete the setup through the MMI. So every time I get in I get these annoying warnings, I get asked to proceed as a guest, etc because I can't login. I'm told there was maintenance, and then some outage, but that the system should be up. Is there a workaround?

Yes, dealing with the Audi Cloud services is a pain. The dealers generally know nothing and seem to NOT want to know. Have you tried contacting the Audi Connect Services Desk? PH:877-505-2834

The dealers don't seem to grasp that cars are no longer just mechanical devices, but computers on wheels. It has always been frustrating to work with them on anything software related. I do agree though the corporate help line has bene helpful with MyAudi problems.

I have the same issue with one I bought a couple days ago.
Similar issues in 2016 with the latest iteration of myAudi...
Will call Audi, the dealers are just focused on selling cars...

I have not, but I will see if that helps. I've been told that there is a known issue, related to database format, that is preventing some new accounts from activating through the MMI interface... and that a fix is expecting to be applied over the weekend. I will try again on Monday and share how it goes!
