Same sentiment on 40K miles on tires. How in the world they lasted 40k+ for some of you is beyond me.

I replaced rear tires at 28-29k and the were pretty ran down. With alignment it was something like $1200 . Welcome to the EV reality. Coming from previous Allroad, significant increase. 265/45R-21 CONTINENTAL CROSSCONTACT LX SPORT AO AUDI XL. (stock tires - I am very happy with Conti's, my wife has them on her A3 as well and I think we will stick with brand)
Front ones were like 8/32 at that point so very low wear. They are getting ran down on corners already. I think another 5k miles and they will be done.

Even with higher consumption I drive almost always in S mode, to redistribute power from only rear wheels to all 4 when I punch it. On long stretches of highway back to D to conserve the energy by decoupling front motor.

By the way on another topic, scheduled for battery replacement 93V2 recall on august 5th, so most likely online monitoring discovered some issue with one or more of my batteries.

Good luck on the battery work!

I just got my 30K service done on my 2022 Etron. I got a similar report on my tread wear; outer edges are showing more wear than center section on the stock Conti’s. I also keep my tire pressure 3-5 psi higher than what’s called out in the door sill.
