I'll go one step further. No gain eventually. The battery normalizes... And the battery has been charging slower on DCQC. I used to always get 153-157 on EA. Now it maxes out at 147. Not the end of the world. Just an observation.

I am convinced after driving my ‘19 Prestige that there is a marginal gain from the update. First two years of driving to/from work where the conditions are totally reproducible, over the long term in optimal battery condition I would average right at 2.6 mi/kWhr. This has now jumped up to 2.8 mi/kWhr, and at times I can get 3.0 mi/kWhr driving to work after battery preconditioning/climate control operating whilst still plugged in. I have never seen that prior to the update.

I went in yesterday for 91DZ recall and was told they have halted that for the time being as there is something wrong with it. However, they did say this 93N6 was available for my e-tron and the dealership did that. (91DZ shows up in my app, 93N6 doesn't).

After 93N6 was applied, I went to a free 40kW DCFC I occasionally use to charge from 32 - 90%. Normally, when I drive home, it uses 4% battery, so it sits at 86% until the next day. However, this time something strange happened that has never happened before. This morning when I started my e-tron, my battery percentage was at 89%. I never plugged in at home, the temperature remained a fairly constant 50 degF in my garage, yet my charge level shot up 3% overnight to 89%. Did my e-tron battery recalibrate to have 3% degradation?

I have a 2021 Premium with 22K miles. Anyway, I just wanted to report this strange behavior of the battery level increasing by 3% overnight when in the past this has never happened after I have used this 40kW DCFC. I drive home from 90%, park it at 86%, and it has always been at 86% the next day. So this has to be related to the 93N6 update. I didn't notice range estimate before or right after the 93N6 update as I normally don't pay too much attention to that, and I went to the dealership expecting a rear camera software update, not a battery update.

The 93N6 affects how the car manages "rebalancing the charge across all the cells in the battery". You can Google about rebalancing in EV batteries. I imagine it is possible that the SOC readout might be affected as the changes in rebalancing take effect.
