Default A7 Euro?

Saw the new A7 and considering grabbing on on Euro Delivery. Already have a trip booked in early Sept. and the dealer seems to be only ordering up cars with fairly absurd overloaded options (that B&O stereo option must be a real money-maker).

Anyway, curious whether anyone else has placed an A7 ED order yet or not?

The dealer seemed confused about whether the car would be picked up in Ingolstadt or Neckarslaum, since the car sticker says Nec. is the final point of assembly (like an R8), but nothing on the website seems to indicate anything different (as it does for R8).

The website also lists 5% of MSRP, and given the new-ness of the car, I'm guessing that's about as good of a deal I'll get, but wondering if anyone has experience with a dealer who might do better.

My last ED car was a BMW, and I loved the experience so anxious to do it again.

I forward your e-mail to AOA ED Department - usually take a few days to replay.

Wow, it was quick!

The 2012 A7 is expected to be available for delivery in Ingolstadt as of August . It is eligible for the program discount of up to 5% off of MSRP . Final pricing is determined by the dealer.

When I picked up my S4 in Ingolstadt, I enquired about picking up an A7 in 2014, and was told that the A7s, A6s and A8s were built in Neckarsulm, but I had the option of picking it up at the new Forum there or in Ingolstadt.

I plan to do so at the Forum Neckarsulm so I can tour a different Audi factory, as well as the Porsche Museum (Zuffenhausen) and Mercedes Museum (Untertuerkheim) and Factory (Sindelfingen). These are all close by in the Stuttgart area.

Thanks for the reply. I tried to set this up from my local dealer. After some badgering I got them to put in the correct 5% MSRP discount, but they insist on marking up the lease rate above the Audi published 0.00205. So I guess I'll try another dealer nearby.

I was at the Manhattan Audi last week and was told ED was not available for A7. Has anyone have any experience in ED for A7 in New York area? I am looking forward for delivery around June and would like to start early... any info would be great. THANKS!!
