Oops on the spelling of the French fighter - should be Rafale.
Attached are pix of the Rafale and A350. Sorry for the poor quality. Bad weather, bad lighting and the fighter is small and fast!

Here are some pix with the Q5 at the Audi Forum. Notice the photographer. She took a nice commemorative photo - for future ED'ers, make sure to ask Audi to e-mail the electronic version.
Also attached is the photo of the tachometer and speedometer at 100mph. I had a tough time trying to keep the camera steady and watching the road at the same time.

Here's a nice picture of Neuschwanstein Castle taken from Marienbrücke (Mary's Bridge). We stayed at the Hotel Müller in Hohenschwangau - nice hotel and has private outdoor parking - I recommend it. I reserved my castle tickets on-line, but was informed the hotel can also reserve castle tickets for you, pick them up and have the tickets waiting for you in the morning.

Thanks "Q5forWife", I love the screen name, because technically this SQ5 is for my wife as well. That's definitely very useful information. I hope ED works out for us, but we were recently given some troubling information last night about our delivery date, so I'm stressing out about this right now. Hopefully it all works out and I will be able to follow in your footsteps at least in the beginning of your journey.

California cousins ?
[We picked up our Monsoon Grey Q5 on June 6,2013. Our euro Plate was IN 366 Z, which I assume means 34 deliveries between our dates. Presume your delivery went as easily as ours, although the Museum was closed on our delivery date for a dealer meeting. With a 10 AM appointment, we were on the road to Italy by 1 PM. Great trip, but even for a Californian a fuel fill up was an eye opener. Drop off at Munich Airport was simple, once all the BMW's were out of the way. Drop off was 6/19, car is currently on Virgo Leader, expected in San Diego on 7/24. Hope it works out since car is an anniversary present for early August.
We did an Audi Euro Delivery in 1988. Picked up the car at an AUDI dealership in Frankfurt, dropped off car to Hotel conciege at a Stigenberger at the Airport and waited 12 weeks for the car to get to the USA. This time was much more organized. Enjoy your trip.

Yes, even knowing gas is expensive, it's still a real shocker when filling up. 1st one was $120 USD, 2nd one was $130 USD.
Made it into Strasbourg today, right into rush hour traffic. Boy, are the traffic lanes narrow here - almost wanted to fold my mirrors.
So far, my wife is really enjoying the trip because it's quite different from our earlier trips to Europe (escorted bus tours, and river/ocean cruises).
6 more days to go.

Our trip is ending after 1,800 miles through Germany and France. On Monday, we'll drop off the Q5 in Nice.
Today (Saturday) was a very long day of driving; got caught in the weekend traffic going out of Lyon. There were also 4 accidents that I counted, one on the other side of the autoroute that was so serious, a medivac helicopter was called. So a 2-hour drive to the Pont Du Gard (Roman aquaduct) ending up taking 5 hours.
We also made it to the lavender fields in Provence.
So I'll end my picture posting with a final photo of the Q5 in front of a lavender field (the colors were more vibrant in person).

I think more appropriate pics of drop off
