I was thinking of joining the Audi Club of America in order to get the 6% discount but this post suggests that this cannot be used with European Delivery. Is this confirmed? Just wanted to check before I spend the money to join the club. Thanks.

I am 99% sure that's the case. I had a 6% supplier discount and was told I couldn't use that for EU delivery so I got 5%. EU delivery was great and worth the 1% difference in my opinion. It's logistically a bit challenging but once it's all locked in, it was a blast!

Thanks for the quick response. I did ED with BMW when I got my Series 3 convertible and I agree with you that it is a blast and definitely worth the 1% difference in price. But with BMW, one gets $1000 or so back on top of the ED invoice price if one belongs to the BMW car club for a year, so I just wanted to check and see if there was a similar program with Audi.

You can only get 5% back through ED program. Can't get the 6 % with or instead of 5%. But you can potentially negotiate with the dealer for additional money off the price of the vehicle or other gimmees. I was able to get free Audicare, free all weather mats, loyalty of $500, as well as the agreement to give me any additional incentives that might be available at the time I pay for my Q7.

Not that I'm aware or (or at least not that was offered to me). I got the 5% off MSRP, transportation to and from the hotel, one night hotel in Munich and the free day at Audi Forum.

That is the standard ED package everybody gets but you can negotiate additional discounts above and beyond. But some dealers may not be willing to give you much, if anything, more.

I did the ED program for Volvo 2 years ago, and the delivery center seemed to be focused on handling delivery to customers from the U.S.
