CD Changer Location
I just purchased a CD changer from zwoobah (Thank You,)
I STF and did a standard search but this doesn't seem to be covered in detail.
Where is the Changer mounted Exactly? I gather on the Right side of the trunk, but does someone have a pic they could post up real quick?
Thanks.
(PS...updated my Pic Poster with some shots of the S6 pre-body work. Should be back on the road by mid Aug.)

With an S6 you do not need the silver box if your radio is a Delta (wide). However, you do need...
a 6 disc changer made by Alpine exclusively for Audi (a normal Alpine does not work because it does not talk to the Delta head. The silver box might work with a normal Alpine deck (I think C4S6 did this once IIRC).
Plus you need the mounting bracket.
For S6 Avants, the changer (and cable) is in the left hand side rear compartment. The bracket is different than the sedan.

Corey, glad to hear it got there OK. The cable should be behind the vertical carpet on the right side of the trunk. My car had a small slot in the carpet that the cable passed through, not sure if that's stock or if it needs to be cut. You'll have to install some screws in the floor of the trunk in order to bolt it down - mine had studs installed in the trunk floor, with nuts to hold the changer in place. You'll also have to cut your trunk floor mat to go around the changer.
