has anyone installed an aftermarket keyless entry system? mine didn't come with one at all

Default I thought was standard on all or nearly all S-cars.
Have you cheked your options codes ot make sure you do not have hte RKE options, and just not the key fob for it?

Default options codes? donde esta?
and i have a key fob with an IR transmitter...but there's no receiver where Gary said it should be (B-pillar, right?)

IR would be in the B pillar, but S6's got RF RKE systems.

Default I'm pretty darn sure it was a standard option, why you have a IR key fob is beyond me.
What does the key fob look like? Round, hard plastic button, or a large, rubber button?
