To install the TDS-1 I'm down on the floor in the passenger foot area fighting to run wires above my head. In all this struggle, I feel something somewhere up above me, tucked way up high. I pull it out. It's an 8.5 x 11 printed sheet detailing an oil change the previous owner had done. I have no idea how this got there. Wierd!

The TDS-1 is cool. I've got boost and intake air temperature being displayed (I didn't hook anything else up). kday (TDS-1 maker) tells me I've got the only 97 model with a TDS-1 installed in it. The install is actually a bit different, since Audi decided to change the wiring around a bit. I had to wire the TDS-1 directly to my instrument cluster, as opposed to wiring it into a plug inside the center console.

I'll be putting a write-up on my website (as usual), though I took fewer pictures for this install simply because it was +30 C and I was in the sun all sweaty and busy running wires. :-) I'll post it up on the forums when it's ready.
