I actually agree with him.
I love the B5 body style. If it weren't for the nightmare of the crammed engine bay, I'd have purchased a B5 S4.
Now that I have the C4, I like everything about it more, EXCEPT the styling. The B5 still wins there.
But isn't this sort of like comparing flavors of Porsche 911?

The Avants are cool... the problem with the B5 sedans is...
they are more common than Camrys around here. You'd never be able to find it parked.
I see maybe one or two C4s a week, and a C4 S car that I don't know maybe once a month. That's pretty cool... (I can't remember the last time I saw a Coupe!)

Nah, I don't often have rear seat passengers.
Although when you need the room it does come in handy...
As far as styling goes, I really like the C6 A6. I had my Dad ready to buy one but my Mom talked him out of it.
