Lower strut mount plate studs unseated...now what?
So I was reinstalling my 2B camber plates the other day and 2 of the lower plate studs unseated on the passengers side when I was tightening down the nuts on the top of the plate. Now if it were a stock strut mount I could just take it off the car and drill through them with the spring compressed to disassemble the strut and replace the plate. But b/c of the design of the 2B plate, I can't remove the strut assembly from the car (the plate protrudes over the sides of the hole).
I know I'll probably have to drill through the studs to get the two unseated ones free, but I'm concerned about the spring compression becoming a dangerous situation with it still on the car.
Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?

Re: use a big flathead and pry upward on the bottom of the nut while you're loosening
Got it! Taking the locks completely out of the tops of the nuts turned out to be the key. I thought I had them loose enough when I was installing, but apparently not, b/c they pushed down on the stud and that's what caused them to unseat. I just put the stock mount back on for now and reseated the studs; they seem fine.
